Literary Candles (Writer and Reader Fuel!)

For me, writing is a ritual. The scents vary by what I'm writing, and what vie I'm trying to set, but these are some of mine that are reliably used.

If you loved PDX Coffee Shop, you'll love "Past Deadline." I seem to find calls for anthologies or short stories right before they're do. Sometimes I get them, sometimes not, but you can count on a coffee candle (when it's too late for your quad shot and sticky bun) to keep the pen moving.

"The Wandering Wizard" is a dreamy Oakmoss and Amber. It has a hint of the wet,, sweet scent of petrichor but not so much to overwhelm the forest setting. Don't mind me, I'm just over here waiting for my wizard induction. 

Finally, "The Smut is just Research, Hon," is one of my favorites for starting the creative energy. Sweet Orange, clove, and chili pepper bring an energizing, focusing scent that work for my neurospicy brain.
