Carrot, Turmeric, Ginger and Honey(suckle!)

Sometimes a soap recipe surprises me - 
 
This bar... is... amazing. It's a gorgeous recipe of our usual plant based oils - olive oil, organic coconut, organic sunflower, shea and cocoa butter and organic castor oil. Then, we add in some organic carrot puree and local honey... the lather.... it's just so good. I had to store a couple of these bars for myself. 
 
The scent is one I love, perfect for the end of summer and makes me think of this time in August where it's clear that summer is thinking about leaving us to our pumpkins and leaf changes and bird migrations.... but not quite yet. I chose an all natural honeysuckle fragrance and paired with with ginger and yuzu essential oil. It is a beautiful combo of a non-heady floral with a touch of spice and citrus. 
 
A touch of turmeric is all this bar needs to round out this bar, one of my new favorites. 
 
*Turmeric may darken washcloths, test it out first before using it on your light colored ones.
