Birch, Please...
I love a solid black soap, and this one is fragranced with one of my faves - woodsy but a little spiced. Birch, cinnamon, and musk make for a woodland adventure in your shower! This fragrance is cruelty free, vegan, phthalate free, and paraben free.
The black comes from activated charcoal, and the gold tops are an ethically sourced mica. You won't look like Midas after, though, it will wash off your skin.
***Please note, that we had a customer report that the activated charcoal was hard to clean out of the tub/off her washcloth (thank you SO much for bringing this to our attention so we could post this note). It is common for activated charcoal soaps to have a bit of a grey lather, and the powder itself is very fine and can attach to cloth. Therefore, I'd avoid using light colored washcloths and make sure you give the suds a rinse after use in showers and tubs.
This is a vegan recipe of olive oil, organic virgin coconut oil, fair trade shea butter, safflower oil, cocoa butter, and organic castor oil. Activated charcoal from coconuts gives this soap it's signature black color, and will give your lather a grey tint.
Soap Care
Handmade soap will last longer if exposed to air on all sides after use. A soap tray or shower rack is a must to keep your bar from waste.
